   6     <h1>The 'owner' field</h1>

   8     <p>JabRef can optionally mark all new
   9     entries added or imported to a database with your username. You
  10     can disable or enable this feature by entering <b>Preferences
  11     -&gt; General</b>, and you can also change the name used to
  12     mark your entries. The default name used is your user name.</p>

  14     <p>The name will be added in a field called 'owner', which by
  15     default is visible in the <b>General fields</b> tab in the
  16     Entry Editor.</p>
